Hank, a dog who was adopted by the Milwaukee Brewers last year after stumbling, half-dead, into the team’s spring training camp, has been named Dog of the Year at the World Dog Awards  2015.

Hank triumphed over other nominees in the Dog of the Year category who included the dog that holds the office of mayor of Cormorant, Minnesota, the world’s ugliest dog, and the dog that won Best in Show at the UK’s Westminster Dog Show.
